Mawgan Porth is a west facing beach offering stunning scenery and surfing, it is situated between Newquay and Padstow.

Mawgan Porth beach is sheltered by the surrounding cliffs with acres of golden sand. Family friendly with rockpools, caves to explore and a stream that runs down the beach. In addition to many activities in and around the local area.  

There are a selection of cafes and shops near by the beach.

There is a car park close to the beach which has a good level of access to get onto the beach. Public toilets are located near the entrance of the beach. 

Dogs are welcome on the beach all year around.

Life guard patrol times in 2024 are: 

Weekends only from April 20th to April 14th

Daily from May 4th until 29th September 

Weekends only from October 5th except 

October half term – October 26th – November 3rd

Patrol times are 10:00am until 6pm
