Carylon Bay Beach is set at the heart of St Austell, with a stretch of 2 mile coarse sand giving visitors the opportunity to enjoy the sea and sand while surrounded by breath taking scenery. The beach is shielded by the cliffs offering amazing views. 

Carlyon Bay Beach consists of three beaches:

Crinnis beach which can be identified by the out crop of rock.

Short Horn which can be identified by the sandy river that makes its way to the sea.

Polgaver which can be identified by the coastline nature reserve.

There is a large car park located close by to the beach.

During the summer months the beach benefits from having pop up stall that offer a variety of activities and food and drink options.

There is no lifeguard cover on the beach.

There is a seasonal dog ban from Easter Sunday to September 30th and welcome outside of these months.
